How do we get your personal data?

Only when you choose to give it to us. We collect information from you when you register on the site, place an order, enter a contest or sweepstakes, contact us, respond to a survey or communication such as an e-mail, or participate in another site feature (reviews, etc.).

When registering or ordering, we will ask you for your personal information. Of course you may always visit our site anonymously as a guest.

If you have opted-in to receive our e-mails, we may send you periodic e-mails. If you would no longer like to receive promotional e-mail from us,  you can unsubscribe at any time. If you have not opted-in to receive e-mail newsletters, you should not receive these e-mails. However, you still will receive e-mails that are directly related to your orders.

How do we ask for Product/Service/Website Reviews?

We use a plug-in CusRev (Customer Reviews) service for sending automatic or manual follow-up emails (reminders) that gather shop and product reviews. Review reminders are sent via an independent service to ensure reviews are honest and truthful and are untampered by us (Chica Bean) the shop owners. Independent collection of customer feedback also enables other optional features such as trust badges or verification of reviews.

Through purchasing via our website, you are agreeing to receive an invitation, via email, for a review of your order. As of April 2021, this agreement is included in the terms and conditions but could in the future be changed to an optional box that that you have the choice to check during check out.
